Geocache Description:

This is at the site of a former state park picnic area on Wilson Creek. Pack a lunch and stay awhile, listen to the rush of water, go fishing, and look for spawning salmon in season.

GPS reception here is spotty but you can get a reading with patience. Once you're at the coordinates, look up and think like a squirrel heading for his cache. You should be within 50 feet of the cache, which is a well-hidden ammo can. In spring and summer watch out for stinging nettles.

This cache is named for the homestead of my good friends Sunrise and Jessica Fletcher because Sunrise worked clearing this park in the past and because their 40-acre Lucky Mud Homestead and new B&B is just up the road, a short distance.
