Geocache Description:

After doing Reflections On Gold Creek Pond cache, I wanted to explore the area more and found this nice spot.

From the Gold Creek parking lot walk out to the road and enter at the gate at N 47 23.669 W 121 22.634. Round trip will be about 2 miles. It is overgrown in a couple of spots and I crossed 5 small streams without getting wet. When you come to a large clear cut start your search. Sit on the large rock and enjoy your surroundings.

Cougar and bear scat were spotted so take all the regular precautions. 6-9-04 Came back yesterday with Pepper and Cin and saw a couple of fresh bones (moisture and tiny bits of flesh still on them). Cougar? I certainly don't want to scare any one away but I would like everyone to be aware that when you are in this area, you should always be looking out for yourself and take care on your hike. Be observant and pay attention to what's around you. I don't mean to preach to the choir but I also don't want anyone getting hurt.
