Teamkittens' third cache is lurking in an open river redgum forest along the Yanco Creek, not far from the Newell Highway. At the time of placing, it's nearly 100 km away from it's nearest neighbouring caches (but only around 20 km away from the nearest confluence, if you're that way inclined).
It is possible to drive to within a few metres of the cache with a 2WD, provided it's not too wet. The area is often frequented by drovers with herds of cattle, by people collecting firewood, and even artists. The cache itself is a 500mL clear plastic container.NOTE: Remember to look out for kangaroos if you're driving through the area at dusk or dawn, and don't park under any river red gums while you're cache-hunting (particularly on warm days).
