Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the very nice area of Sanford Village. It is the Midland County Veterans Memorial Park. There are 130 acres here to hike and bike around! There is a must see bridge that connects the north and south sides of the park. It crosses the Teed Drain that empties into the nearby Tittabawassee River. I am glad the bridge held up during the recent floods! Parking is at the South Parking lot. Off of Cole Road to Neiner Road. Park at N 43 40.499 W084 23.928 Hit the loop and cross the nice bridge. This park has some orginal Red and White pines! Be sure and look for them. The cache is not too far off the trail. It is a green amo box, packed with goodies. There is a camera to take a picture of yourself and I will post it. We have just started camera number two. Pics will be posted soon from camera number one. Also, there is a first finders prize. Be sure and hit the Original Pines II (GCKHNK)cache, while your in this neat park!
