Geocache Description:

NOW CELEBRATING ITS 14th ANNIVERSARY. This Cache is Knox County's second longest running Geocache - See Tributary. This souvenir-themed cache will take you on a walk through the woods in Wolf Run Park in Mt. Vernon.

The "Wish you were here" cache is a clear, gallon twist-top container. It is stocked with souvenirs from other places - please trade with the theme if possible. It is located in Wolf Run Regional Park, a new park in Mt. Vernon, which contains acres and acres of woods with trails. There is no need to go off trail until you are about 30 feet away from the cache. Please help keep the parks open to geocaching by staying on trails as much as possible rather than bushwhacking all the way through the woods. This is Knox Count's second oldest active cache, Tributary is the oldest. Thanks!

NOTE: This cache involves a hike along a dirt trail through the woods. Please expect and be prepared for seasonally-appropriate conditions, including mud and bugs in the summer, and mud, ice and snow in the winter. There is a photo below of the sign at the parking area if you need help finding the park. The entrance is on Yauger Road. Please re-hide well, and happy caching!

And Please remember, Cache In -- Trash Out!!
