On the lovely Dawlish Warren. It's in the no dog area (sorry)
Dawlish Warren is a natural double sandspit at the mouth of the river Exe. It is an important area for birds and flowers. It protects the estuary villages and the main railway line to the South West of England. The landward side is a major holiday resort, but once further away from the holiday makers it is a peaceful area, favoured by birdwatchers, nudists and golfers (!). The cache can be found by going to the railway station at N 50 35.906, W 003 26.583 and finding the mile post opposite the platform you are on. If this can be represented as ABC then the cache can be found at N 50 36.(A+C)(3X the platform no. you are on (NOT the one the milepost is on))(A+C), W 003.25(A+C)(A)(C-1). You will need at least an hour, but the walk is worth it for the birds and flowers. The cache is situated on a worn path so do not worry that you are going somewhere ecologically unsound. Parking is P&D and can be busy. Better by train! A
