Geocache Description:

A cache high above Bingley giving spectacular views across the Aire Valley.

Druids' Delight is situated within the St Ives Estate on a large gritstone outcrop known locally as Druid's Altar. From 1636 the estate was owned by the prominent Ferrands family of Bingley, and during the 1850s William Ferrand landscaped the estate and created many of the paths and tracks in use today.

The coordinates should place you on a path looking between a gap in the trees to a roundabout dead ahead in the distance and large rocks down a steep slope in front of you. You will need to climb down this slope for about 10 metres, then start searching for the cache.

The terrain is steep and rocky, difficult in wet weather so please do take care, particularly with children.

You're looking for a regular clear plastic box containing lots of goodies.

We hope you enjoy it.
