Geocache Description:

This is a hike to a beautiful pond area in the Binghamton Nature Preserve at SUNY Binghamton.

This is a travel bug rest stop only. There is only one room at this lodge for about any sized travel bug (one bunk). To log this find you must trade travel bugs here. Take the travel bug that is there and leave another one. You cannot check a bug out without paying ... so be sure to leave another travel bug here for a nice rest along the shore. Be sure to replace the cache just as you found it, or one of the Beaver Brothers might snatch it.

Please take a picture of your travel bug somewhere in this picturesque place and attach it to your log. We look forward to all the bugs enjoying this four season resort.

To get here, take NY 434 to Murray Hill Road. Go south on Murray Hill and then turn right on to Washington Drive and then left onto Lehigh. Park at the end of Lehigh (to the right) at N 42.04.686 W 075.57.566. Start your hike here at the Nature Preserve sign. We suggest hiking boots, as it can be muddy at different times of the year.
