Cache is along the coastal path at Porthdinllaen. This place was on the shortlist for the ferry to Ireland but Holyhead won. Good news as this is a lovely area.
Thought we'd take you to one of our favourite spots where you can watch a variety of sea birds and seals. In fact, if the tide is out, the seals will be basking on the rocks. There is parking: N52' 56.122 W004' 33.527 (NT car park - £4 bank holiday to end of September). The walk is approx. 40 minutes. You can either go along the sandy beach (path down at far end of carpark) or through the golf course. There are toilets between the carpark and the beach or actually in the village enroute. If you go through the golf course, it is buggy friendly to about five - ten minutes from the cache. If you go by way of the beach, it stops being buggy friendly at the village approx. ten minutes from cache. N52' 56.591 W004' 34.154 Sunken sea cave. N52' 56.613 W004' 34.125 Choice: can carry on along the golf course road or go down the road on the right to the village/toilets/pub.
