The Space Machine Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ngaambul: As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

A space-themed cache

If you go to the posted coordinates you won’t find the cache, but you will be in the middle of a very big clue.

Two more cryptic clues to decode (formerly located in now-disabled caches):

Henry Draper's numbers

S34° 00.XXX E151° 04.YYY

LAT: Eta 4th, Eta 1st, Eta 4th

LONG: Alpha 3rd, Chi 1st, Epsilon 2nd

Research will be necessary.

The cache contains numerous space-themed items such as a diecast model of the Starship Enterprise, the Collins Guide to the Stars and Planets (removed), and for the first time in any cache anywhere, a copy of Drunken Gunmen’s album, Deep Space, Distant Future.

For the First Finder there is also a beautiful hand-crafted trophy (see picture) hidden a short distance away. Congratulations to SWAG agg who claimed his prize on June 13, 2004.

The soundtrack for this cache can be listened to at the Spaced Out Sounds netlabel site.
