in our disclaimer.
An easy to moderate hike of less than .3 mile along a forest
service road.
Directions:
From the intersection of Hwy 64 and Hwy 276 in Pisgah Forest, drive
north on Hwy 276 for 5.2 miles, then turn left onto Forest Service
Road 475. The road will turn to dirt. The above coordinates will
lead you to the cache. Parking will be at the Daniel Ridge Loop
trailhead parking area.
From the parking area, go behind the gate and continue straight
along the road to the cache.
The new bridge is in place and completed!
Don’t Do This Cache without hiking the extra 500 feet along the
road to one of the prettier falls in Pisgah National Forest!
Another cache is placed just beyond the falls as an added
incentive.
There are two short trails off the forest service road to the
falls. It will require a short but not difficult scramble and is
well worth the effort. The falls are pretty from the trail but
magnificent at the base. Bring your camera!
The cache is a small square plastic container with a white lid
and is filled with small exchangeable items. Please resnap the lid
securely and rehide it well.
Please keep in mind that animals have VERY sensitive noses, so
please do NOT put food, candy, mints, or other scented items like
candles or soaps into the cache. Animals smell it and think it is
food.
Thanks
