Geocache Description:

The cache is less than .3 mile from the parking area with very little elevation change.

Directions:

From the intersection of Hwy 64 and Hwy 276 in Pisgah Forest, drive north on Hwy 276 for 5.2 miles, then turn left onto Forest Service Road 475. The road will turn to dirt. The above coordinates will lead you to the cache. Parking will be obvious.

Follow your GPS behind the gate, Daniel Ridge loop Trail will veer to the left a little past the bridge.

The cache is hidden from casual view approx. 15 feet off the left side of the trail. It is a small pill container, with only the top above ground, hidden inside a short, small, moss-covered stump. It's covered with a few dead leaves. Bring your pen or pencil to sign the homemade log.



Please keep in mind that animals have VERY sensitive noses, so please do NOT put food, candy, mints, or other scented items like candles or soaps into the cache. Animals smell it and think it is food.
