This geocache is located in our favorite U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Park. We are again honored to be assisted in monitoring and maintaining this cache by our friends the Cachecrazies.
Got some time? Need some fresh air with a challenge? How about a nice walk in the woods? Then this is the cache for you! From the suggested parking at N 36* 24.544 W 092* 20.315, head up trail #103 and let the adventure begin. This will be an approximately 2 MILE total length hike. If you stick with, and enjoy the trails, only minor bushwhacking will be involved. Take water, bug repellent, binoculars, a camera, and we'd suggest a lunch to enjoy near the final cache location, a beautiful view of the Pigeon Creek Recreation Area, with a bench to relax upon while logging-in and taking a well deserved rest. These trails are also open to mountain bicycles (which would be another way to enjoy this cache hunt), so remember you may have to share the trail. Note: Please RE-HIDE the waypoints and final cache AS WELL OR BETTER THAN YOU FOUND THEM to preserve the hunt for others. This geocache is dedicated to the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the new "Friends of Pigeon Creek" Group, who have joined together to keep this area open and more accessible for hikers, bicyclers, and fishermen. And "Special Thanks" to Ranger Scott Fryer of the U. S. Army corps of Engineers for permission and encouragement to place this cache.
