Indialantic Live Surf Cam
This cache is very easy to get to, located at the beach in Indialantic, FL - Depending on which parking spot you choose, you could literally stand on your car and be there. The difficulty rating is because of the timing required and the necessity of a helper.
To log a successful Find, you need to have your helper capture your picture in the above webcam AT SUNRISE. Then post your picture here when you log your find. The date and time will be captured in the photo. I doubt there will be anyone in the area besides you, but just in case, hold your GPS high in the air to identify yourself.
The coordinates provided will take you to the stairs that lead to the beach shown in the pic below, but you do not need to be exactly there for your photograph.
This webcam pans from North to South, so the timing can be a bit tricky. Make sure your helper knows how to take a screenshot and that either you or your helper know how to crop it to only show the webcam portion of the screen. You may want to have your helper practice before you go.
Depending on the time of year, the sunrise itself might not be in the photo with you. If this is the case, I'll still accept a webcam photo of you taken at sunrise, but I would prefer for you to snap your own pic at the location with the sunrise in the background.
Lastly, for those of you non-morning people (like me), feel free to post a "Note" with a pic of you in the web cam. But to log an actual "Find," you need to be there at sunrise.
