Geocache Description:

Please take extra care when finding and replacing cache. Lots of muggles around. I rased the difficulty of the cache up a little due to all the people that will most likely be around the cache. Good luck and don't get caught finding the cache.

Jennings Memorial Park & Jennings Nature Park

51 acres - 6915 Armar Road
jp_pond2.jpg - 9021 BytesSurrounded by a natural trail setting, Jennings Memorial Park along Allen Creek provides a peaceful environment for the entire family. Jennings Nature Park, dedicated in 1993, is joined to the Memorial Park by a pedestrian bridge. It is situated adjacent to a 17-acre wetland observatory.

The Memorial Park offers picnic facilities, trails, playgrounds, softball fields, meeting rooms with kitchen facilities in the Jennings Park Barn, restrooms, the Gehl House Museum, a WSU master garden and compost demonstration site, Rotary Ranch Petting Zoo, Lions Centennial Pavilion and Jennings Dinosaur Park. The dinosaur park offers Godzilla-sized fun with such dinosaurs as a 23-foot-long Stegasaurus heavy-duty climber; a 17-foot SalamanderSaurus; a Pterydactyl swing, and ride-on prehistoric beasties Barney, the Tyrannosaurus Rex; a Triceratops and a baby Brontosaurus. Bring a camera!

This is our second cache.  We placed our first in a very remote location in the Mt. Baker National Forest.  We do not get too many visitors to that cache and wanted to place one that more people would be likely to find.   This cache is located in Jennings Memorial Park by a pond my son went fishing for the first time.  It is a great park for the whole family and pets.  The area can be a high traffic, so be discrete.  The cache is about the size of a small coffee can.

When logging the cache please include the name of  your favorite cache.   (Excluding this one   )

Ours is Barclay Lake Trail   (GCJETY)

Directions:
From I-5 North or South go east on Highway 528 at the main Marysville-Tulalip exit. (Highway 528 is also known as 4th Street.) Follow the signs to Jennings Park. From Highway 9 turn west on Highway 528. Turn North on 47th Avenue NE (there are lights at this intersection). Stay to the right on Armar as the road "Y's": Jennings Park will be on your right.

Note: If you reach Grove Street and the stop sign, turn around and come back half a block or so and Jennings Park will be on your left.
