Sir Blunderbrain was once considered a brave Fraggle. Too bad he never returned from the terrible tunnel.
The members of Finding Fraggle Rock consider this their favorite place to visit during the summer months.
Brooklyn Heights Village park is located off Tuxedo Avenue. The coordinates for the park entrance are as follows:N 41* 24.916W 081* 40.816
There is ample parking in this area. DO NOT PARK ON ANY SIDE STREETS. You will have to cut through private property to access the park.
This park is a wonderful place to spend a day. There are playgrounds scattered about the grounds for children to enjoy. Picnic pavillions, grills, and flush toilets are available for your enjoyment. This location is perfect for young and old. Bring a pair of watershoes and some old clothes and enjoy the shallow river running through the park.
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in the park. The park is open from 7am to 9pm and is heavily patrolled. Due to the unique surroundings and beauty of this location, please keep in mind the geocaching moto "cache in, trash out".
The cache is in a tupperware container full of traditional cache goodies. Be careful to replace it just as you found it.It is not necessary to get your feet wet hunting this cache. It is assessable in all seasons. We do recomment, however, checking out the tunnel in the riverbed nearby. A relaxing cool breeze comes through it on those HOT summer days. The walk to the cache is always more fun if you are willing to get your feet wet and enjoy the river. Children love this park and it is kid friendly, but it is important to keep a close eye on them at all times.
