This easy family-cache is located at Kahlenberg from which you have a great view over the city of Vienna.
You can reach the cache area by public transport. Take the U4 till "Heiligenstadt" and take there the bus 38A till "Kahlenberg". Those coming by car, can park at the big parking area at Kahlenberg.
The trail is most of it`s length a tarmac walk. Strollers can be used. Only for the very last meters before the cache you have to leave the way. No special equipment is needed. Length: 1.5 km RT, Difference in Height: app. 100 m.
Note: The cache is hidden OUTSIDE of the cemetery. There is another cache INSIDE the cemetery, but it is listed at opencaching.com only. This regular cache has nothing to do with my cache!
NB: The above difficulty and terrain rating was done with the program from geocaching.com. To be internationally comparable I`m using this result. (See the discussion in the forum also.) My personal opinion is a rating of 1 star for difficulty and 1.5 stars for terrain.
