Geocache Description:

A short walk in the woods at the Westbound Rest Area on I 26

A large pill container filled with small exchangeable items. Be on the lookout for any of the local poisonous plants.

This cache used to be named, "Waist High Stump," however, the old hollow stump doesn't exist anymore. Someone moved the cache a few feet just to hide it after the stump was gone, so we pretty much just updated the coordinates to where we found it. They only moved about 13 feet. The cache is now in the end of a nearby fallen tree.

Update - June 2012: A few weeks ago, a search & rescue team was searching for a lost teenager, and found the geocache. It was removed, and later determined to be harmless. Somehow, someone else decided to put it back, but nowhere even remotely close to where it is supposed to be. We tried to locate it at the coordinates they said it was rehidden, and to the best that we can determine, a helecopter would be needed to get to it. Today we returned to the original hiding place, only to find that 1, the original hiding place no longer exists, and 2, due to other nearby caches, there is very little "wiggle room" to relocate it to another good stump. We had to "build" a new hidey hole within an area of about 20 square feet, or else we would be too close to another geocache.

The cache is now located in the "crook of a dead. fallen tree. We had a difficult time navigating exactly back to it, so we are providing a spoiler picture to assist in your success. It was taken standing at ground zero. Good luck finding it to those who have not already done so.

Please remember that animals have a much keener sense of smell than we humans. Please do not place food, candy, gum, or any other scented items such as soaps, candles or "wipes" in the cache, as animals often mistake these items as food, and will destroy the cache container trying to get to it. Also, please hide the cache container so it is not visible, so that other geocachers may enjoy the hunt. - Thanks
