On hill overlooking Carden Cove (Lake Superior)
Carden Cove Cache - Park at trail head 48° 45.113N 86° 24.156W
Once off the beach follow the trail markers, follow the trail up the hill
Cache History:
- June 12/04 - Original Cache placed
- July 2/04 - First find by r0dman
- Oct. 13/04 - Cache reported missing
- Nov. 7/04 - Cache replaced for 1st time
- Nov. 7/04 - 2nd find by spikybeagle - The Monster Beagles were also out for the find
- May 21/06 - 3rd find by Chili 1981
- Oct. 17/07 - 4th find by Page Finders - cache reported destroyed - cache lost a struggle with a bear
- Nov. 10/07 - Cached replaced for the 2nd time
- Nov. 10/07 - 5th find by pnutbeagle and the Monster Beagles
- May 17/15 - Cache container replaced with small lock-n-lock - now hanging in a tree - the 2 old cache containers have been removed - the cache should be easier to find - added a couple of waypoints for the trails at the end of the beach
