To find the actual cache begin at the coordinates given (the IP) and find the features indicated by the clues, below. If you park in the parking lot (rather than along the road) make sure you go west along the short path through the trees and approach the IP by crossing the lawn in front of the main house.

The original cache contents were meant to spark your artistic talents! It included items such as paint brushes, colored pencils, play dough... Trades in that spirit are encouraged.
The Garden is open to visitors year round, daily, from 8 a.m. until dusk, and admission is free. The Garden Association conducts drop-in tours for a small charge ($5) per person on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. during the summer, and also at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays during the Saratoga Racecourse season.
- Information on these gardens can be found on a sign north of the IP. It includes reference to two dates. Write them down.
- West of the IP is a timely feature behind the balustrade above you. From the IP count the number of stair steps it takes to reach the path to this object.
- East of the IP count the number of statues you can see. (Off-season hint: If the statues are covered (as they are in the winter) you can assume there is only 1 statue per enclosure.)
- Enjoy a stroll through the 180 foot pergola. While doing so, keep track of the number of columns supporting it.
- In the rock garden you will find 2 pools connected by an interesting stream. Count the number of statues you find in these features. (Same off-season hint as above.)
Now that you've had a chance to wander this beautiful place, find a quiet place to relax and use the information you've gathered to determine the coordinates of the cache.

- To determine XX, first multiply the number of columns from clue #4 by 3, then subtract the number of steps from clue #2, and subtract 3 times the number of statues from clue #3.
- To determine YY, take the difference between the dates in clue #1 and add three times the number of statues from clue #5.
