Math is the Pits Multi-Cache

Another nice walk in a former gravel pit.
Professor's Lake park in Brampton is one of the best examples of a rehabilitated former gravel pit. The deeper parts of the pit are now a lake full of crystal clear water. After you finish with the cache, you could cool off with a swim at the beach. Just be warned that there's a fee for the beach area (not the cache though)

The cache itself consists of four micro stages, a virtual stage, and the a final regular stage.
Stages 1 through 4 are metal tags anchored in place with wire. Each tag has the coordinates of the next stage stamped on one side. On the other side is an offset in the form of a distance and a bearing.
Stage 5 is a spot where you can sit down for a bit. You'll need it, because there's some math involved in locating the final. Those four offsets collected from the first four stages will give you the distance and bearing needed to go from the fifth stage to the final. The catch is, that you can't just walk for all of them. Several of the offsets would take you out into the middle of the lake. This means that you'll have to find some way of mathematically determining the sum of four vectors.
Once you have the sum of the vectors in the form of a single distance and bearing, you shouldn't have any problem walking over to the final cache site.
