Turtle Bridge Traditional Cache
Sky Dancer & Honi Bear: Sorry...I forgot to get back to this. It is gone...probably muggled. It was off the trail in the hollow log and originally camouflaged well. This is a very busy park and, as always, cachers should be discrete when caching in places like this. We are not planning on replacing it, not in the same vicinity anyway.

Located in popular Dan Nicholas Park in Rowan County. Just slightly off a well marked trail. Please be discreet. Cache is in an ammo box and is named for the numerous turtles that live under the bridge nearby. Seasonal hours: Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb 9-5; March 9-6; April & May 8-8; June, July, Aug 8-9; Sept & Oct 9-7.
You may want to spend some time enjoying the other park's activities. It offers: a carousel, petting barn, miniature golf, picnic shelters, children's playground, camping, fishing, paddle boats on a small lake, gem mine, miniature train, nature center (with snakes, birds of prey, and even 2 bears - who are awaiting their new home currently under construction!) concession stands & lots more. Please re-cover the cache well to protect it from being compromised. This park sees lots of activity.
