This cache is located in beautiful Silver River State Park. There is a museum and historic buildings run by the School Board of Marion County. There is abundant wildlife and the hiking trails are well maintained.
This cache consists of seven stages located through out the park. We have tried to keep each stage easily accessable, but as you know, always take plenty of water and use bug repellant(this is tick season). The stages are all micros, and the sixth will take you to a large cache with lots of new stuff.I had to move the first part a little off the trail because of storm damage. This cache has the blessings of the park manager, be sure to take time to say hello. Stay on the trails, there is no need for bushwhacking. It damages the terrain and the trails are easier and faster. You will find what you are looking for on the trail. This is not a park and grab, you will have to hike, but it is less than five miles over all. Dont forget to check out the other caches in the park. Make a day of it, you'll find it very enjoyable.
