To find this cache, you can park in Morrison and take the bike path for a half mile jaunt into Bear Creek Lake Park, or to get closer, you can pay the $4.00 fee and park at the Skunk Hollow Picnic Ground parking lot. From there, the cache is 1000 feet away, and 220 feet off a cement bike path.
This is an easy find. Just for fun, do a Google search and learn who Pinocchio’s Grandpa is and you probably won’t even need your GPSr to find this one. While there, you can visit the historic marker in honor of George Morrison who founded the nearby town – just 600 feet north of the cache, across the Bear Creek bridge.
The cache is now a full size ammocan loaded with kids stuff from the dollar store. Please trade fair and cover the cache when you leave.
