A Tower Mill (whole body built from ground up, cap revolves) built in 1829 can be found at Barnham.
Currently undergoing long term restoration, it still requires its sails (or sweeps as they are known in Sussex) to complete the exterior.
There is a large car parking area adjacent to the mill and shops.
There are three main types of windmill in Britain, the Tower Mill, the Post Mill and the Smock Mill. This trilogy of caches will visit all three. Each cache can be logged individually, but when all three are completed there will also be a bonus cache. Caches can be completed in any order.
The cache itself is a brown plastic container with a few small swaps.
Suggested parking for the cache is N50 49.494 W000 38.353
Beware of potholes along this lane.
There will be a Flour based bonus word inside, so do remember to record it. !!
