Adopted this old ParkerPlus cache from DBJTEX in October 2025 as it's close to home and sort of a tribute to Parker+. Will visit GZ soon as it appears the cache is missing. Will revise once we've checked on it.
First Adoption Description from DBJTEX---
When ParkerPlus retired from caching in August 2015 I had the honor of adopting this cache. The following paragraph is the original cache description...... cache is now a soda tube. Interesting cemetery location that I pass quite frequently coming and going to the airport. There is also a historical marker here with some interesting reading.
Original Description ---
"On the way to pickup some church campers in Nacogdoches, Texas, I needed to take a break and rest for a few minutes. I have traveled past this location many times traveling thru Cleveland, Texas to visit PlusOne's Uncle in Security, Texas. Finally, I stopped here to check out this rest area.The rest area is well maintained, no mosquitoes, a few trees and a fenced in area for those who are resting. This rest area has been here for a long time. Easy parking - just use caution when exiting the main roadway.The cache is a small tobacco can and contains small trinkets, log book and a pencil"
