located NW of Hunter Ranger Sta on edge of soldier park in the SW1/4NE1/4 NE1/4NE1/4 Sec 6 T50N, R84W. On forest service trail #394. Park at Hunter Corrals and hike or ride 4 wheeler 2 miles to soldier park.
Cache is in a plastic container about 7" sq. Items included pencil and sign in log, soap, candle, patch, deoderant, Ty Teanie Beanie Bear-New Beginning, Campbell Co pin, US Flag, tape measure, cards, stickers, rock, liquid perfume, WY cowboy, WY shot glass. The graves of Peter Garde and Carl Johnson are located here. Peter was a French civil engineer,who was accidently shot while cleaning his rifle in 1877. Carl was a swedish Tie Hacker who died of heart attack, following a trip to seven brothers, in 1922. Come enjoy this beautiful park and its mountain vistas.
