On Monday, June 28th, the DeLand Cache Bash will start at 1800 hours (6:00 p.m.) and will go until about 2130 or 2200 hours (9:30 or 10:00). The coordinates above are for the first stage of the cache which will contain directions to the bash. At the first cache site, you will find a tupperware container with a log, a pen and nametags. Please write your caching name and your real name on your nametag and put your nametag on. For those who like to brag a little, feel free to also write the number of finds you have!! This first cache will not be placed until 1730 hours (5:30 p.m.) on Monday the 28th. Children are welcome to attend with their parents/guardians. Please bring a snack, appetizer, sodas, etc (no alcohol please). The bash will be held in an air-conditioned building with a bathroom, tables and a fridge. There will be prizes for FTA (first to arrive), etc. There will also be a contest for the funniest, most amazing or best caching story. Please write your story (one page maximum), and bring with you (but don't put your names on them - they are to remain anonymous for judging purposes). This event will be a way for cachers to get together, meet and talk about caching. Feel free to bring muggles interested in joining the sport!! SEE YOU AT THE DELAND CACHE BASH!!
