Located northwest of West Yellowstone, MT
Head N on Hwy 191 out of West Yellowstone. At N 44° 43.913, W111° 06.592 (just S of MM 5), turn onto Rainbow Point Road (FS 6954). Proceed about 3 miles to N 44° 45.409, W 111° 09.854. Turn left toward Horse Butte Lookout (FS 610). Proceed to the cache site. This cache can be reached by car, mountain bike, or even a boat would work for this one. All will require a short stroll to the cache site. This site would also be accessible by snowmobile in the winter. Please obey the motorized wheeled vehicle closure near the cache site. The cache is in a coffee can.
FS 610 may become impassible during and after heavy rains.
