Geocache Description:


CACHE PAGE AND COORDINATES WERE UPDATED 7/31/05. I know- it's not a multli. I am in the process of changing that!

This was originally a multi and the task was to climb to the top of the tower. There was some question of whether or not this was permissable. The cache was changed to eliminate the clmb.

A fire road and signs with arrows will lead you up to the Federal Hill Fire Lookout Tower. Children under 18 are not allowed to climb the tower.

Parking is avaiable on Ponemah Hill Road accessable from Route 101A in Milford or Route 122 in Amherst 339 Federal Hill Road.

There are tons of blueberry bushes all over the place and a couple of them were ready for picking! Bring a basket.

This cache may seem familiar to some. The Gang really enjoyed it when it was here last. I believe a Muggle found it so please be discrete! There is no poison ivy or stone walls. There is some bushwacking but no face slapping braches. The contents are in the smaller size ammo box.
