Cache located at the Whitefield Salmon Preserve on easy hiking trails along Sheepscot River.
The Whitefield Salmon Preserve is located on Howe Rd in Whitefield, parking area is just North of a one lane metal bridge. See www.sheepscot.org for directions or more information about the preserve. Warning: There is some poison ivy on the Salmon Trail down near the river (make sure you know what it looks like so you can avoid it!). The Blue Trail is a nice walk that follows the River, but has even more poison ivy. The Salmon Trail is 1 mile long, and the Blue Trail is 1/2 mile long.The kids broke the bank for this cache! We left it with the following items: 2 pkg garden seeds, 2 matchbox cars, 1 bottle of bubbles, 1 Sacagawea dollar, toy dinosaur, toy moose, stuff cat, stuff dog, Bratz doll, a green haired Troll, a small book, a mini nerf football, nail clippers.
