Please know that the Indiana reviewers have done everything in their power to keep as many caches as possible on IDNR lands and to make this transition as smooth as possible. They have worked long and hard with the IDNR to come up with a new policy that will work for most cache owners. We are very sorry for any inconvenience the implementation of this permit process may cause.

Geocache Description:

Westside of the park, and just off of trail 4.

Well we were hunting the other caches in the park today, and I was surprised no one had hidden any caches toward the west side of the park. Having grown up in scouting we always tented in the group and rally camping area. The best place to park for this cache is in the rally campground, and near the start (or end) of trail number 4. The cache is hidden off the trail about 40 feet, and is fairly well covered in greenery in June. Don't get discouraged about the overgrowth, it gets better off the path a bit.

UPDATE 4/1/2012----- A BIG THANK YOU!!!! This Cache is now 8 years old! My son Dalton was less than 2 years old when we hid this cache, and now he's almost 10 years old. Pretty Amazing that the cache is still going Strong!
