Take Murdock Basin Road, then Duchesne River Road--about 2 miles in from highway 150. Steep but short hike down to cache.
Funny how one stumbles accidently on a great location for a cache. We randomly picked a site since there were no close caches, then while looking for a good hiding place found an odd "Ruler" on the mountain. If anyone knows the purpose of this--fill us in. The area looks like a bowl--was this a possible dam site and the numbers meant for water level? Curiouser and Curiouser.Cache is in an ammo box, and contains 23 keychains and 2 locks. Many are from caches--you may recognize one that you left somewhere. No need to stick to the "Lock and Chain" theme--it was just a way to start the cache. We would encourage leaving things with numbers--rulers, measuring tapes, etc. to go with the location.
