Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDINATES.

This cache is a pill bottle located within 360 feet of a stonehenge-like structure along a very busy paved walking / biking path in a local park. Use great discretion, as you can be surprised by runners or bikers quickly rounding a bend in the path.
To find the final location you will need to project a waypoint 059 degrees for 358 feet.

We spent an hour there this year for the summer solstice sunset and watched the projection of the sun along the markers. The best time to be at the sun circle itself is at sunrise and/or sunset, but the cache can be accessed anytime that the park is open(sunrise to sunset). This structure is at its most descriptive of the sun's movement at the summer / winter soltice and the spring / fall equinox. There is an embedded plaque in the center of the circle that identifies the sun times and the purpose of the circle.
For locations of other sundials in North America, go to www.sundials.org. There are 6 others just in the Tucson Metropolitan area.
