Shortly after leaving rock of ages you will cross the stream again. This is the beginning of your trip up stream without a paddle. As this is an unmaintained trail, there is often more than one trail you will come across. As long as your headed up stream your on the right track. Lots of boulder hopping, scrambling, stream crossings, and searching for the trail. Hence the 4 star rating. Experienced hikers will find it an enjoyable challenge. TRAIL NOTE: No need to scrambble up in this section,look for a low route.Cache contents: Water bottle sport caps, dayplanner, car freshener, WD-40 wipes, lizard, fishing lure, , sunglasses, tire patch kit, dog bone caribiners.
