This car park in Abbots Langley is free of charge and I've never seen it full so you shouldn't have any problems parking here. Once you've parked up, make your way to the second waypoint through the centre of the village.
Waypoint 2: Parish Church N 51° 42.445 W 000° 24.993
The parish church is quite a good looking building in my opinion and sits within a rather nice church yard. These co-ordinates should take you to a church information board.
The Revd Anna Matthews lives at A0, Kindersley Way and her telephone number is 265B29.
Still within the church grounds, and only a very short walk from the last location, you'll find the war memorial.
Number C is the number of Private Bennetts named on the memorial.
Waypoint 4: Garden N 51° 42.336 W 000° 25.051
Just over the road from my favorite restaurant in Abbots Langley (Abbots Tandoori), you will find this very small garden. There isn't too much to see, though the solitary park bench will probably be a useful place to sit if you buy a bag of chips from the fish and chip shop over the road. Stones embedded in the pavement provide a clue as to when the garden was created (or redeveloped?)...
The year in question is 200D.
As you begin to walk down the hill you will come across this small green on the left of the road. You might notice the unusual cattle pen that is here - I have no idea what that's about! Also on the green you will find an oak tree planted to commemorate 100 years of the Abbots Langley Co-operative Womens Guild with a small plaque next to it indicating this.
The second year on the plaque is 19E3.
Waypoint 6: Playground N 51° 42.214 W 000° 25.267
This waypoint will take you to a fairly small playground, but no doubt those who bring young kids along geocaching will find a reason to stop here for a few minutes :-)
Count the number of seats on the rocking horse - this is number F.
OK, now that you've gathered the answers from the locations above, you can figure out the actual location of the cache by substituting the values you've picked up for the appropriate letters N51 A B-F. C A+F F-C W000.CF.F-C F F
