Geocache Description:

This years Technology Expo will be held at the Dallas Convention Center on Saturday, September 11th & Sunday, September 12th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. This is a free to the public event, so stop by and say "Hi!" or work the booth for a little while and talk to folks about geocaching.

We've been assigned booth #518. Its a corner near the Comcast and DFW Airport booths.

We'll need 4 or 5 volunteers to work the booth each day. Please post a note when you can come by. Free lunch will be provided.

Stuff we'll need:

  • Lots of copies of the Geocaching FAQ. Please use this one, as its been "Tex-ified".
    We gave away more than 200 each day the last two shows! Colour copies would be prefered but aren't a necessity.     - Thanks to shanep we have plenty of brochures!
  • Candy for the kids at the show
  • Examples of cache containers and trade items
  • A few interesting travel bugs
  • GPRs that have a demo mode
  • Give-away items? These mini-pens are really kewl and would be great for small caches. Maybe we can pool some $ and place an order.
