Geocache Description:

This is a day-use only area.

Please Read: We have been given permission to hide this cache. It is with the understanding that it is on ESF property, where ongoing environmental research is being done. We have been asked to please be careful of all plant and animal life in this area.DO NOT TAKE OR MOVE ANYTHING Experimental studies are conducted here, and the area must stay as natural as possible. Please do not remove anything, as some things that may not look 'natural' may in fact be part of an experiment. Likewise, when you find the cache, please place it back just as you found it.

There are a couple of pull-off areas on the side of Lafayette Road, or you can drive down to the driveway of the Lafayette Road Research Station and park. DO NOT PARK ON THE HIGHWAY!!! This cache is hidden so that you will have to do absolutely no bushwhacking! You can walk along service roads and open areas throughout this little forest area. The cache is located in a clearing just about 30 feet from a service road... there is no undergrowth here. Because of the thick tree cover, the coordinates may be slightly off. When you see the area, you will know you are close. The cache is hidden in a typical geo-caching site. Check the clues if needed. Please resist the urge to hide this cache better than you found it. It is meant to be an easy cache: No muscles required or backbreaking lifting.
