Located in a local park with paved paths, just south of Lester B. Pearson International Airport.
Cache is a Tupperware style container measuring about 5X7 inches. Cache originally contained a mini KLM 747, a fridge magnet, a mini Wooly Willy, a toy airplane kit, and Canuck Woodchuck TB to begin his journey. The park celebrates Max Ward, one of Canada’s most successful northern bush pilots who parlayed a single-engine bi-plane into Wardair, a $250 million international airline famous for its first class service. Wardair operated out of a number of Canadian airports including Toronto Pearson and was the third largest airline in Canada operating twelve A310 Airbus and three Boeing 747s, before ultimately merging with Canadian Airlines in 1990. You are between runways 33L and 33R, to the north, and you should be able to see lots of aircraft arriving and departing. Runway 33L is 8500' and 33R is 11,049' in length. Pearson's longest runway is O5L/23R at 11,118'. Toronto Pearson can handle 120 aircraft movements per hour, but limits the amount to 84 aircraft per hour for efficiency and safety reasons. In 2003 24,739,312 passengers travelled through Toronto Pearson, making it the busiest airport in Canada.
