A meet and greet & travlebug exchange party on the fourth of july at my house!!!
OK since I want to meet all of you nice people and cachers alike, I thought it would be a great idea to hold a soirée at my place!!!
I live in North Palm Beach Heights, and is a stone throw away from where the fireworks are going to be, and since most of you will go see the fireworks somewhere, you might as well head on over here, meet other geocachers, and not have to fight the traffic!
This will be an informal meet-n-greet, where we can exchange
travlebugs, stories, telephone numbers, incidents, ideas, and in general just have a grand old time!!!
I will provide the following:
1- facilities (a place to gather/ hang out/ talk/ whatever
floats your boat as long as it is legal)
2- refreshments (of the non-alcoholic variety... you are
more than welcome to bring your own beer, wine or liquor)
3- utensil (plates/forks/knives/spoons/napkins)
4- ice
5- music
6- bathroom
7- kitchen
(stove/oven/microwave/grill.....pots & pans - for those of you that might
bring something that needs to be cooked or prepared)
All I ask for you to bring is:
1- yourself
2- whomever you would like to bring
(no limit. as long as they are friendly.. lol...but no pets)
3- a travlebug or two or three (but they are not required to
be able to come, but it would be nice if we could ascertain a giant selection
of TB's and try to set a record or
something...lol... this will make for a good adventure to add to all the tb's
quests)
4- food, some sort of something, say like a potluck dinner
(feel free to cook it here if you would like)
5- a portable seat (I have some,
but if we have a good turnout you might want to bring a lawn chair or two)
6- Conversation & a sense of humor .... lol
Start time...let’s say anytime after 12, but would like to formally trade bugs about 5pm, and continue to party,
Then around 9 pm,we can all mosey outside lookup and enjoy the free fireworks display, brought to you by the town of Jupiter....
So for all of those interested please write a note stating:
who will be attending, how many people they plan to bring,
and what type of food item they will be bringing, and about what time they will
arrive...
Other than that, I think that about sums it all up......drop
a line and let’s have a blast on the fourth….. So…..be there or be square…...lol....
