Geocache Description:

Directions: Take Highway 191 (north of Hendersonville) to South Rugby Road. Turn off of South Rugby onto E. Grandview Lane and Mill Pond Cemetery will be on the left.

Just east of the cemetery you will see a field of waist high to head high sage grass ( I don’t know the name of the grass). There are approximately 80 graves in irregular rows, many of which are fieldstones with no inscriptions, and most of the inscriptions on the headstones are no longer legible.

The oldest grave that we know of in this field is Ellen M.L. Jones -- Born 29 Sept. 1784 Died 20 March 1812 (age 28).

The cache container is placed in Mill Pond Cemetery, a few yards west of the unkept field of graves. It is a small pill container hidden in a small hidey hole, and covered with leaves. Bring your own pencil to sign the log.
