I teamed up with AtlantaGal to place this cache in conjunction
with her latest cache at the time (Felix's Fortress). However,
after it went missing temproarily, I moved the clue to her Black
Muddy River cache, so it now has what you need to find *this*
cache.
I took two 100 count averages with my brand-new GPSMap 60CS, and
managed a combined 19.4ft accuracy. As such, and for other reasons,
the initial difficulty rating was a 3, but it's since been changed
to a 3.5 after finder input.
You're looking for a smaller ("30 cal") ammocan. Hopefully you
will find this cache to be a little more challenging than my prior
hides. Use the hint if needed - it's for the final, not the
clue.
One thing to note - this is not a puzzle cache. It's a
good ol' find-the-clue-in-one-cache-to-find-the-other-cache cache.
The clue is physically in Black Muddy River.

06/26/04: Opened to all members, temporarily up'd Difficulty to
3.5, subject to change in coming months.
08/05/04: Cache container replaced w/7.62mm ("30 cal") ammo can,
log replaced, with new trade items and as many items salvaged from
previous wet container as possible, including prior log
entries.
11/06/05: Only 6 finds in a 12-month period. Not bad! :)
01/16/06 update: More people have problems finding the
clue than finding the cache. Trust me, the clue is in Black Muddy
River. You just gotta look for it.
03/18/07 update: Clue was originally in Felix's Fortress,
but after it went missing the clue was moved nearby to Black Muddy
River. Everything else about the cache is the same. Cache
description updated to reflect this.
