Atrus 2004 Birthday Cache Traditional Cache

     I began to get the idea that it was time for Dear Dora & I to start hiding a few caches for everyone ELSE to find.

     During the course of supper, the staff came out with a small cake square complete with lit candle, helium balloons, and party hat. Everyone sang "Happy Birthday," and I was made to wear my new hat and balloons for the rest of the meal.

     It turned out that the little girl sitting behind me had her eye on my balloons. I took advantage of the situation to "ditch" the balloons and hat! It was well worth it as the little girl's face broke into the biggest smile that lit up the whole room. She was a real sweetheart!

     It was suggested that all in attendance at this little party should sign the cache log. It was passed around, and all who signed it referred to such a "great location!" Trust me, they were all referring to the location of the RESTAURANT, not where I hid the cache! Those who were there were, 1Madlabs, Gojoey & Bookworm1, NC_Ron&Dianne, L - R & (minus) Bubba, Dear Dora and myself, Atrus.

     Great location, Indeed! But even greater, is the friendship! Thank you to all who made it a great birthday! To all who find this hidden cache, you missed a great get-together!

      And now, here is the "birthday" cache. Since this is the first cache we are hiding, we wanted to make it very straightforward and relatively easy.

     It is a medium sized plastic container with a snap-on lid. It's wrapped in a dark plastic bag and hidden out of plain sight. It contains small tradable items and a log book. There are two or three parking spots in the front, right behind the cache location..

     Please be sure the cache is well hidden when you leave.
