"Wet&Wild" Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Rattlingcrew: Please let me know if you decide to reactivate this cache, clearing the menu for now. Glen

Greetings from GeoCaching.com

I have once again been looking at caches in the area which have been temporarily disabled for a while now. It appears that your cache has been under the weather for an extended period of time.

While I feel that GeoCaching.com should hold this location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time. I do not think we can do so any longer.

Therefore I have archived this cache. If you have not done so, please pick up any cache bits left behind as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache. Better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your "My Cache Page" and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to look at your cache again to see if it is within the guidelines of the GeoCaching.com website for placing of a cache.

Having caches posted as temporarily disabled for extended periods is particularly annoying for local cachers, as it still show up on their "to do" cache lists.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to the GeoCaching sport. I am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the near future.

Thanks for understanding our position,
Your friendly, but sometimes not real popular Kansas Admin.

Geocache Description:

This is my first multi-cache that was brought to mind by fellow cacher (tjswint). Tucked away in a little corner of Junction City, you will find a Multi-cache for eveyone. You can find the points on foot, by bicycle, or even a wheelchair, for those less fortunate that like to get out and fun and adventure too. The trail between the points is a maintained dirt/gravel road wide enough for a small car, but please do not attempt to drive on the trails, we are not aloud too. Lets go!

This is really easy if you follow the coordinates correctly. The coordinates listed above are the start point. There you will find a 1"x3" piece of laminated paper with the coordinates to point two typed on it. Once you find it, load it into your GPS and go. But take your time and read the plaques that are there. They tell about the wildlife that may be in the area. When you have made it to point two, take a break if you need too and relax, your almost there. "Now look around and upside-down" for the coordinates to the actual cache. Find it and load it into the GPS. Again, take your time and check the area out, you never know, you might learn something new. Once you have made it to the actual cache spot, you will be looking for a 5"x8" Rubbermaid container with a white screw on lid. There are plenty of small items to trade, along with the traditional log book, pen and pencil. There is also a geocaching sheet on the inside and the outside to explain the intent of the container in case someone finds it that has no idea what it is for. When you are finished, please re-camo the cache back to the way you found it or better. Have fun, be SAFE and happy hunting.
