Geocache Description:

This is an easy three-part cache along the beautiful Little Blue River Trace hike-bike trail.

The Little Blue River Trace bike-hike trail is part of the Jackson County Parks and Recreation system. This well-maintained, flat, hard-packed surface trail is about 11 miles long. There are several other geocaches along this trail. Permission was given to place a cache here. The arithmetic involved here is only some addition and subtraction. The total round-trip distance for this cache is less than a mile. It should take about a half-hour, less by bicycle.

The coordinates given are for the first part of the cache. Here you would have found four 5-digit numbers on a sign but the sign has gone AWOL, so here are the numbers to use: 22807, 64015, 37127 and 20013. These numbers are to be used to determine the coordinates for the second part. Sum all 20 digits to give a 2-digit number T1 (for a check, the sum of the resulting two digits should be 7). To T1 add the number of nearby benches to give a 2-digit number AB. Take T1 again and subtract 20 to give a 2-digit number CD.

The coordinates for the second part of the cache are:

N 39 03.6____ [AB] and W 094 20.2____[CD]

At the second part of the cache, you will find a 10-digit telephone number. This will be used to determine the coordinates for the third part of the cache. Sum all ten digits to give a 2-digit number T2 (for a check, the sum of the resulting two digits is, again, 7). Subtract 3 from T2 to give a 2-digit number EF. Subtract 13 from T2 to give a 2-digit number GH.

The coordinates for the third part of the cache are:

N 39 03.5____[EF] and W 094 20.1____[GH]

The third part of the cache is an ammo can.

During the summer, this section of the trail can be pretty busy on weekends and nice evenings, so discretion may be necessary at times. A very short bushwhack is necessary.
