Historic Potty stop? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

RE&ME: Finally had someone headed that way to check on it and it is missing. So, I am just archiving this one as I can no longer maintain it due to the cost of gas.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Off highway 70. There is a parking lot and it is paved most of the way to the cache. Should be easy.
Please note that the rest stop is closed during the winter but you can park off the road near the cache site and still access it.

The cache is a 35mm film canister with geocaching sticker on it. Inside you will find a log book but no room for a pen so please bring one and there is a first finder certificate.

This is an easy find in an historic spot. The view is not bad either and there is plenty of shade. We got to sit in the shade and watch a train roll on by in the distance.

I have enjoyed other caches where questions have to be answered. You can just log your find in the log book. OR, sign the log and challenge yourself a bit and email me the answers to the following questions about this site:
1. In the 1800's what was established near this site?
2. Who established it?
3. Who is the current facility dedicated to?
