Geocache Description:

As with all of our caches up till now, we have created another themed cache, however this time we thought that we would try our hand at an unknown mystery cache.

To unlock the mystery of this cache you will need to gather three measurements A, B & C.

Cracking this cache will rely on your accuracy and may require some lateral thinking.

In order to obtain the measurements, some specialized equipment may be useful, we suggest the following:

  • a device capable of collecting and accurately measuring liquid;
  • a device capable of measuring length (greater than 1 metre);
  • a note pad and pen, may be useful;
  • your old school mathematics; and
  • depending on your maths skills a calculator may also be helpful

Now, What needs measuring up, we hear you ask? Well read on ……

Measurement A:

Find the length of this item from wood to wood and round your answer down to the nearest metre, then divide your answer by four.

Measurement B:

Do you remember the ditty, “There’s a hole in my bucket, dear Liza” well how many litres does the bucket hold dear cacher, dear cacher.

Measurement C:

An appropriate place for a cacher to visit with a problem as easy as pie! For this problem all workings and answers should be rounded up to the nearest whole metre. Find the circumference of the inner stone wall. Then divide your answer by three.

We hope you enjoy this cache and look forward to reading and seeing who measures up!

Note: For the enjoyment of cachers who will follow you, please ensure things are replaced as they are found, and please do not reveal the caches secrets in your logs.
