The first real / physical geocache in São Miguel island.
The enormous caldeira "Sete Cidades" is one of the main tourist attractions.
 About the cache
The cache is placed in a nice pic-nic place at the lake Lagoa Verde (in Sete Cidades).
Start at the parking on the bridge (N: 37° 51.280, W: 025° 47.139).
Walk along the lake Lagoa Verde until the end then you find the pic-nic place (N: 37° 50.940, W: 025° 47.107). |

At this place you also find a grill. Place is ideal for families with kids.
For finding the cache go up the stairs and follow your GPS.
Please observe there is a camping site nearby, in Sete Cidades, if you like to use it.
