This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no response to my earlier post, I'm archiving this cache to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me (by email), including the GC Code or a link to the page, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This trail goes from Wind Gap to Stockertown. It is very flat and straight. The few bends in the trail are slight and you can usually see almost 1/2 mile in front you. The path offers decent shade with trees on both sides. An easy, relaxed trail. It is one of the Rail to Trails see (visit link) www.railtrails.org

I did maintenece today 4/9/06 and on my next trip I will replace the container with better tupperware. The problems that were happening when I first placed it seem to have stopped. Parking can be found at N 40 51.562 W 075 16.332. The parking lot is on Buss Road and I had trouble finding the trail head. The original was placed in a hole in the slate pile on the east side of the trail at the above coordinates. Just north of the slate pile is the end of the Waste Management fence. Check out the end post and you'll find numbers that will get you to the final cache. There are now two sets of numbers I think the vinyl numbers are more accurate. The second container was placed in a similar place and lasted less than 48 hours. I am not longer advising against TBs. I've included a printout of the logs that have been lost to keep it up to date.

No need to cross the creek. You should stay on the other side of the creek from the old out house.

7/16/08 - I've been having trouble with my TB inventory so I decided to virtually drop my AT Series in this cache. Any body who wants to discover them find the codes on the attached picture, e-mail me if there are any problems.
