Parking for this cache is at the Mahlon Dickerson Reservation picnic area. The best approach is to start on the Highlands Trail that goes to the right of the ballfield. There is no need to bushwack until you get near the cache.
After taking my youngest daughter (a.k.a Rooster) on several cache hunts I decided it was time to place one that would be somewhat friendly to 3 year olds (almost four). And after garage sailing for a day without successfully finding a Mr. Potato head for this cache she volunteered hers. Hence the name Roosters Potato Head Cache. Now here comes the NO MORE part. After a few years in the cache Mr. Potato Head will no longer be with us. When accused of dirty caching he just wouldn't come clean. So the rest and relxation was more of a trip to an eternal rest.
This is now just an ammo box cache hidden in a fairly easy and traditional manner. It's a sad day. Updated September 2007
